Statement Of Intent
The theme I have completed is Framing I aim to get my photos to look stunning and I also hope to learn more about this theme so I have a clear idea. I also want to use a variety of camera settings like: ISO,Aperture,Shutter Speed and White Balance to make it outstanding. I will research photographers and artists that have done framing to see the style of their work.I want to capture a selective variety of photo shoots to explore my theme Framing as a whole and make my photos look really good and in order to do so i would like to look at other photographers work and magpie a bit of an idea to get my photos to look incredible. I will take part in as many photo shoots as I can mostly inside of school want to visit websites that have inspired the topic throughout the course of this project, I will use the best of my ability with the camera and Photoshop to get the most out of my photos in photography and explore more into the topic I can also use a variety of ISO, apertures, white balance, shutter speed and rule of thirds to get certain things within the photographs. I might also experiment outside to manipulate the photographs. I will also use Photoshop to edit my photographs I have taken. I would also like to annotate my photographs in other applications to get it looking absolutely brilliant. I also want my photographs to show what kind of people there is out there that do things like this it makes a lot of people go insane so they self harm themselves. I hope to learn more about the environment we live in and what we can do to help but I also want to learn how to make my photographs look even better with Photoshop and look more sympathetic.
My Mind Map

Analyzing a Christopher Anderson Photograph
Context
This photo was taken at a lake and it is showing a man and woman sat down having a picnic together. The picture was taken by Christopher Anderson and he has used composition, mid aperture and fast shutter speed. It also has trees and bushes making a frame around the photo. My eye straight away got drawn to the man and woman because its the light that is on them and there is rule of thirds with the trees. A strength for this is the aperture and shutter speed.
Connection
It connects because of the framing and the water looks clear and warm. It shows that relationships are beautiful and how they are positioned at the lake. The image also links to my work because it shows people and how they are sat. The message behind this photo is that the man and the woman are sat together and how the wild life brings them together. In my opinion I think this picture is a meaningful photo because it's how the wild life brings the the man and woman together. The theme is framing and it is relevant to my work because it is in the wild and I would like to go into the wild to take a picture like this. I would think about doing black and white with my photos because it gives it a meaning and an effect.
Content
The trees and bushes make up a frame and the structure of the frame is very creative and imaginative. We can tell that it is a new picture like it was taken in modern day and their is a dark kind of filter on the picture. There is some structure in the photo but there is also people in there. We can see the lake and some plants in the background the plants are in the water and shows that it is in the wild. I think this picture was made from trees and nature and also people because it looks like a nice sunny day out for a couple to go to and it looks like their chilling and enjoying the lake. It is a section in the woods and it looks creative to have it there it also seems like these people are having a fun day.
Composition
There is some kind of a triangle shape frame and the people are in some kind of triangle shaped frame. They have used the rule of thirds the dirt is 1/3 of the photo and the trees and bushes are 2/3 of the photo. They have used depth of field and a fast shutter speed there is also a high aperture. The photographer has used a tripod to take the photo because it is eye level also made us draw our eye to the people because there is two and also how they are positioned. The lighting creates a soft contrast and also there is no strong leading line and their is no close up in the photo but it has fast shutter speed, medium aperture and rule of thirds.
Comment
In my opinion I think that the photo is a great photo it has a medium aperture and a fast shutter speed and a shady white balance. The strengths in this photo is they have a soft contrast and that there is a fast shutter speed and medium aperture I think this because the photo isn't bleached out and is in focus. I can use this to inspire me because there is different shape frames in the photo and there is people at the lake and it has a meaning behind it that is understanding because of the mood. I also think that the color of the photo black and white is delicate colors for the photo it gives it an inventive feeling and also a creative effect.

I have chosen framing because I feel that it has a meaning behind the photos. My first ideas to start the project is to have someone wearing sunglasses and looking at something nice and then I can take a photo of them using a mirror. I am interested in Christopher Anderson because he has some kind of passion for the photographs he takes and he takes them with a sense of style. I want to develop a style of Christopher Anderson’s photography work I want to show passion in my photographs and I also want to show creativity in them with the frames and style. I am also inspired by how he takes the pictures using angles.
Second Analysis
Content/Composition
This photo was taken at the Trafford Centre and it is showing a bunch of cars and how colorful it is with the lights. The cars make up a frame for the actual building and our eyes get drawn to the buildings lights because its bright and colorful. They top of the Trafford Centre is just 1/3 of the photo and the cars are 2/3 of the photo this is shown they have used rule of thirds in this photo and they have also used a medium aperture and fast shutter speed. They have also used depth of field.
Connection
It connects because of the framing and because I can go take a photo of this easily and because my framing is about colorful bright things and also about buildings within the frame. It also connects because of the frame it gives me a creative idea for what I would like to do when i take the photographs. We can tell that the photographer had a creative mindset for this photo. I believe I can pull off a picture like this and have a special kind of frame round it and I also think that I could take a photo with a meaning behind it and also take a photo with color in the photo.

My First Shoot
In this photo shoot I went to Tatton Park to get my images which turned out really nice I enjoyed doing this shoot the most because I had some technical difficulties with the camera and it taught me a lot of things to do in this topic.

Best Photo |
Worst Photo |
This is my best photo because it is in focus and has the right aperture and shutter speed for outside weather. It also has the right white balance for the weather.
|
This is my worst photo because its blurry and its come out yellow and has a low shutter speed. It also has the wrong white balance for inside.

Evaluation
For this project we started by looking at Framing. I then did some further research and decided to focus on the theme of mirrors. The reason why I chose this theme is in my opinion I thought of it as a creative and fascinating project to do. I learnt how to edit and develop my photos in Photoshop.I enjoyed editing my photos on Photoshop and the one filter I thought was most effective was the gradient it would change the images color.
I also enjoyed using Photoshop because it taught and showed me how to edit and make it look more professional it also showed me how we can reflect and improve on it another thing reason I enjoyed using Photoshop because it taught and showed me how to edit and make it look more professional it also showed me how we can reflect and improve on it.
I tried adding other things like the window images to make my photos look like they have a frame and make it look more professional.
I found the experience interesting because just learning about it and getting to actually be a part of the project was a phenomenal experience taking the photos and developing my ideas into Photoshop it was good. We experienced new techniques like how to use Photoshop like the filters and tools to cut and add color or text.I would like to develop a bit more of Photoshop like how to make it look professional and make it look realistic and to also develop my camera skills such as the standards of the pictures I have taken.
I feel that the most successful part of the project was my final piece because I used cyan tones to edit my work I also used filters to make it look realistic and better. I did have some problems with my project like the camera wouldn't work or the lighting wasn't good enough it was like it had too much exposure on the photos. I learnt from them that you can just turn the light down a little or add color filter to it to make it look less exposed we could also blur it out kind of.I would change the lighting in the photo to make it look less bleached out and make it look less exposed I would also change the way I took the photos so they wouldn't come out blurry or bleached out. I would like to develop Photoshop further by trying different techniques.
A Photographer I researched was Christopher Anderson. He taught me angles and the structure in wild life and around us. Overall I enjoyed using Photoshop because it taught and showed me how to edit and make it look more professional it also showed me how we can reflect and improve on it. I learnt how to change the white balance to the right color and it made my photos come out better and more clearer. I would add more photos to the page to make it more full of work for the page.
